Elsa Gerosa Ronchi

Early Forties

Chiron began its activity in Como in 1958, as textile design studio. Earlier, in 1943, its founder Elsa Gerosa Ronchi, who was born in an artist’s family began her fashion designing career in Milan working for High Luxury Maisons such as Ventura and Germana Marucelli, and later in Paris for Chanel and Jacques Fath.

Bibi Ronchi

Early Seventies

In 1972, Bibi Ronchi joined the company, marking a significant chapter in Chiron’s history. The focus shifted to specialized consulting, honing in on fashion textile and trend research.
Bibi began to collaborate with Chiron, starting the creation of trend books developed through the different seasons.
